Again this year, Emily has made outstanding progress.  She will be four years old next month and exhibits typical behavior for her age.  She is articulate, curious, funny and well behaved.  Her interests include art, music, puzzles and games.  Recently Emily received a back yard play structure with a slide, swings and a climbing area.  She enjoys swinging, climbing and going down the slide.  Her dexterity and strength are improving as a result.

Emily attends school two full days each week and is an active participant in the activities there.  She gets along very well with the teachers and other students.

Emily continues to develop at a faster pace than most of her peers.  Her language development is ahead of other children her age.  Her art skills are also advanced for her age.  Recently Emily has shown an increased interest in reading and learning the sounds made by the letters of the alphabet.  We play games where we try to think of all the words beginning with a certain letter.  She is very good at it.

Emily continues to be a very healthy child.  Her height (38-1/4” – 0.972 meters) and weight (37 lbs. – 16.78 kg) are slightly above average for her age.
