The entrance to the observation deck is next to St.Paul's Chapel on Broadway.
The fence surrounding the chapel is now a memorial to those lost.
There are literally thousands of  pictures, notes, flowers and 
other tokens along the wall.

The observation deck is open 
daily but you must have tickets.
They are free and available about 7 or 8 blocks away at pier 16  in the Seaport..

Ground Zero, the former World
Trade Center site looks today 
pretty much like any construction site.
Until you look at the surrounding buildings.  There you can see many blown out windows and  other damage.
There is a large pile of what looks like structural steel pieces waiting to be hauled away in the center  of this shot.  There were seven buildings here.

The small building in the center most likely will not survive.
